| DESCRIPTION | Tenure track position in Literacy Education. Appointment includes teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate courses focused on literacy development, language acquisition, reading strategies, content area reading, and other topics related to literacy teaching and learning; building strong partnerships with schools, school faculties, and communities; developing new courses; and contributing to a department with a strong vision and innovative programs. Faculty members are expected to be active scholars and to participate in department, college, and university activities. |
| QUALIFICATIONS | Earned doctorate in reading, literacy, language acquisition, or related field. A well-defined research agenda and evidence of scholarly activities. P-12 teaching experience preferred.
